Just back off holiday and I have the pleasure of your blog post.
Well done Spectre! Those figure do look rather nice especially the two turbaned guys, I can see these easily slipping into a west African game, say French in Mali?
The White Dragon figures look nice but I do find them a bit pricey and a range which is just British and Taliban has its limitations.
The Sally 4th idea certainly has some legs, ideal for modern urban settings in the west; running around semi destroyed bits of Iran/Iraq/Syria has it's limitations. Hats off to Sally 4th for doing some interesting stuff, the whole walking dead/sci fi rabbits isn't quite our thing but I think we (the group) need to look a bit closer at the stuff that is usable for almost any modern setting.
Bought several copies of the magazine Desperata Ferro while holidaying in Spain, very high production values and what look to be interesting articles - I can't read Spanish so I'm going to have to get the dictionary out to get the gist. Why buy it? Well you know what wargamers are like, if it's shiny.....
