How do I follow you?<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Game_Briefing\"><\/span>Game Briefing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>While flying a routine transport operation between Aden<\/i><\/span><i> <\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>and Abu Dhabi, a C130 Hercules belonging to a civilian contractor (the Argo Corporation) was forced to divert in an attempt to avoid an approaching sandstorm. While off course, contact was lost after the crew reported coming under attack by ground fire.<\/i><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>The contractor was quick to report the loss, citing possible issues if the various militia groups in the region were to secure it. ISAF-AP forces begun attempts to find it but a massive sandstorm in the region forced a delay.<\/i><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i>Now the storm has cleared up, intelligence has now found the crash site and spotted movement around it. JSOC has ordered your team to deploy, dropping in close to the target zone and then advancing on foot to maintain stealth. You are operating in <\/i><i><a href=\"https:\/\/hntdaab.co.uk\/blog\/wargaming\/adventures-in-bazistan\/\">Bazi<\/a><\/i><i> territory without permission &#8211; do not stick around. Move in, achieve your objectives, get out.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rules\"><\/span>Rules<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The ruleset used for this game is <b>Skirmish Sangin <\/b>by Radio Dishdash. In addition, I&#8217;ve used some rules from <b>Plausible Deniability<\/b>, the Special Operations focused supplement I helped to write for Skirmish Sangin<\/p>\n<p>If you are looking for a copy of it for yourself, the best place to buy is directly from Radio Dishdash. If you want both books, a good way to get them is to grab the bundle at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skirmishsangin.com\/shop\/pre-order-plausible-deniability\/\">http:\/\/www.skirmishsangin.com\/shop\/pd-ss-printed\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Models\"><\/span>Models<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the BLUFOR operators, all the models are from <b>Spectre Miniatures<\/b>, in particular their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/task-force-operators\">Task Force Operators<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/us-rangers\">US Rangers<\/a> collections.<\/p>\n<p>For OPFOR there is a mixture of figures. Most are from <b>Spectre Miniatures<\/b>, in either their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/middle-east-north-africa-militia\">MENA Militia<\/a> or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/insurgents\"> Insurgent<\/a> collections. A few figures are from <b>Empress Miniatures<\/b>, specifically from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.empressminiatures.com\/insurgents-38-c.asp\">Insurgent <\/a>range.<\/p>\n<p>The Technicals are all from <b>Spectre Miniatures<\/b> and are mainly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/vehicles\/\">Technical Alpha<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Terrain\"><\/span>Terrain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most of the terrain was homemade &#8211; I recommend taking a look at the blog posts below for more details.<\/p>\n<p>The plane is a 1:48 <b>Italeri C-130J<\/b> which was assembled and then chopped into pieces<\/p>\n<p>The buildings are from <b>Red Vector<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Other_Stuff\"><\/span>Other Stuff<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To help with play, the character sheets are on custom trump cards bought from <b>Personalised Playing Cards <\/b>(<a href=\"https:\/\/cardcreator.personalisedplayingcards.com\/\">https:\/\/cardcreator.personalisedplayingcards.com\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Skirmish Sangin is a D100 based system so you will need lots of D10s in different colours.<\/p>\n<p>Skirmish Sangin also uses counters for stances and morale. The plastic ones I used were from <b>Radio Dishdash<\/b> (as part of the Day of the Rangers kickstarter).
