Yesterday was Friday which means it’s news time! With two lots of smaller bits of news (and the fact I’m hammering out these News Stand posts and doing barely any of my own stuff) we’re going to combine them all together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First up Spectre. They have been having a little bit of a cyber issue with their main website, having to fall back to a temporary domain for a while. However, good news is that it has all been fixed<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help celebrate, Spectre has released a Hacker figure in STL format<\/a> for the low price of \u00a31. In addition, if you order this weekend (so before end of day 18\/06\/2023), you’ll get 10% off any cart including this figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside this new release, we also heard the news of Spectre bringing several major ranges to their end of life in the Last Chance to Buy section. This time we’re seeing the entirety of the Task Force Operators range, all the Task Force Nomads and the Tier 1 range. This is due to their replacement later in the year by new sculpts, as shown on Spectre’s roadmap<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, ESS sent out a new email newsletter <\/a>with more information on INX Recon, covering changes to activation with coherency as well as the reaction mechanic. However, I was more interested to see the figures above – more models for the Proxy Forces range (now in metal) that anyone who has been dropping into Al-Masrah recently will recognise. But, it’s not just the pair on the left – the figure with the armoured shoulders looks cool with at the back you can spot a disposable launcher. These guys looked pretty great, and I’ll be very interested in them once I’ve painted up my current Proxy forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also interesting is what has been announced for next month on the My Mini Factory Tribes page<\/a>. Shade Company (oh boy, hard to guess what it’s based off) are a team of operator covered in all the latest gucci kit, M4 and fast helmets galore. I’m also happy to see that at least one operator has brought a multiple-grenade launcher to help clear out any strong points you might encounter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
