Good news for readers across the pond heading to Historicon in Lancaster, PA this weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Echelon, the makers of Black Powder Red Earth and the game I won’t shut up about BPRE28mm, are going to be there from Thursday 20th of July through to Saturday 22nd<\/strong>. Checking the exhibitor’s list, Booth 416<\/strong> is where you should be looking for them, although they are going to stand out a mile with their artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, as well as getting to see the game and get your hands on the components to feel how nice they are, it sounds like Saturday will also be showing some gameplay from the next expansion Spearhead. John Chang has been teasing me with details about Spearhead for a while (the term “insane” keeps coming up when discussing the lore that sets the scene for the expansion) and I’ve been lucky enough to take a look at what some of the rules are going to be like for the new units. All of it comes together to mean Spearhead is going to take what we know and love from the current game and elevate it to the next level, so getting a first play of the new expansion (with an advising hand from the team behind it) should be a great time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
