BobMack3d Launches World Revolution Kickstarter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BobMack3d <\/a>kicks off this week’s post with the release of the latest Kickstarter (yes that one I’ve been previewing the last few weeks). World Revolution<\/a> includes five mid-Cold War vehicles (T-55A tank, ZSU-23-4M self-propelled AA, BTR-60B APC, PT-76B light tank and BTR-50 APC) which are suitable for a whole selection of world powers (even to the present day). As with all Bobmack3d releases, the Kickstarter is available as both the base version and a version that adds the stowed variants as well. There are also two addon packs to expand your set – the Vietnam Add-On set adds three additional vehicles specific for use with the North Vietnamese Army, while the Soviet Vehicle crew (sculpted by Flank March) gives you five mounted figures and a dismounted crewman suitable for Soviets in the 1980s (although still usable for other countries that would be using these vehicles).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stowed package is about \u00a374 but this includes a pile of additional vehicles that will be included in the stretch goals – some of the highlights include the modernised T-55AM and T-55AMV (both of which are already unlocked) as well as various command and forward air controller vehicles (ideal for those playing the smaller scales) as well as both the T-54 and T-72 Ural to give you additional tank options for the under-equipped forces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want even more vehicles, then the Tubro Backer tier includes another T-55 variant, the T-55AD (as shown above. This vehicle mounts the Drozd APS system, the first Active Protection System developed to protect tanks from incoming projectiles while unfortunately having a habit of shredding the infantry dismounted around it. It’s a lovely little vehicle and as with all the Turbo Backer vehicles, will only be available to those buying into the project at the higher tier.
