Spectre Miniatures Previews British Rifle Section 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First up, fresh off the weekend at Warfare, Spectre Miniatures<\/a> has a new preview for the upcoming British release. This image, pulled from the Spectre Miniatures Patreon<\/a>, shows off the second section for the full platoon, this time showing off the guys without full scrim helmets. The set has the same weapon mix as the first section shown last week, although this set is split into two style, showing a team split into assaulting and overwatch elements. The Assaulting team is moving in a stack, ready for entry, while the overwatch element (including both the L7 GPMG and the L129A1 Sharpshooter rifle) are crouched, preparing for the next part of the advance. Both teams are the type of poses I recognise from defence imagery pages, and I’m excited to see them in 3D. With the first set in full scrim and this second set wearing a bare Virtus helmet, the third set is going to be more sparse scrim, making all three sets ideal to mix together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We should be seeing the third section and command soon, with a release coming later this month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

BobMack3d Surges Ahead With ZAPAD-84<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last Friday, BobMack3d <\/a>launched ZAPAD-84<\/a>, the latest Kickstarter to provide STLs for Cold War gaming. As well as the initial vehicles (T-80, BTR-80, MTLB, KAMAZ and SA-13) optimised for 15mm, 20mm and 28mm, the rampant success has led to four more stretch goals. This expands the collection to include the T-80A, the MLTBVM (an APC variant with the HMG), the T-80B and the KAMAZ with a ZSU. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/svg>\n\t\t<\/button><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the core vehicles, there is also an additional vehicle for those at the Turbo Backer tier. The BTR-80A entered service in 1993, replacing the heavy machine gun with a 30mm autocannon turret that was later used on other vehicles such as the MLTB and BMP in various modernisation programs. This vehicle is available at the highest tier exclusively for the Turbobackers, and is a good addition for those wanting to push the Kickstarter further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kickstarter <\/a>will be running until November 28th, giving you plenty of time to jump in if you want to expand your Russian collection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fire Modern Combat Prepares New Releases<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/svg>\n\t\t<\/button><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Having recently closed out their Kickstarter after completing fulfilment to all the backers, Fire Modern Combat<\/a> is starting to look at expanding the range further. To provide some ranged support to the already released US Army Rangers with NGSW, the first pack includes three figures – a Designated Marksman, a Spotter and a Marksman with a Barrett MRAD (also known as the MK 22 PSR in service). These figures will be coming as part of the new Fire Modern Combat site when it launches on November 26th (more details coming soon).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Urban Scatter Gaming Prepares The Finery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Urban Scatter Gaming<\/a> has returned with some more previews of the upcoming City range. The plan for this range is for each building to come with a matching scatter pack, making it quick to get it setup and ready for the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As previously previewed, this first building is a corner jewellery store, with a shop floor on the ground and space above. The building itself has a rear access door and brickwork, asking for some detailing. The shop floor itself can be printed at different orientations, allowing for greater flexibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The associated scatter pack include display plinths, jewellery cabinets, and a till counter. All three item types come in two versions – a clean variant ready for the start of each heist and then a smashed version for when the beat drops and the masks go on<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be more previews coming soon, but this is a passion project range for Wedge (the devious individual behind USG), and even these initial previews show off a potentially very exciting addition to the STL market. Anvil Digital Forge Prepares Frogmen For December Loyalty Reward<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following on from this month’s stealthy operators from Anvil Digital Forge<\/a>, the loyalty reward for next month expands the set out to one of the most common entry points for covert operations – coming from the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as a set of custom legs, the big addition is two different styles of combat divers. One set is equipped with the traditional oxygen tanks and mask (including a bump helmet to protect them), while the other set comes with the traditional mesh veil (as seen on Danish Combat Divers and game characters Nokk and Krueger). These will be both single-part figures as well as parts for the Regimental System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a fun little addition to really capture the sneaking mission feel. The main release is a new set of Automata – slightly out of the target for this blog (although the Titanfall-inspired designs do definitely come close), but if you want the extra diving guys, it’s worth keeping your subscription up either on Patreon <\/a>or MyMiniFactory<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Combat Octopus Previews Pack 2 Of MENA Freedom Fighters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Having returned from break, Combat Octopus<\/a> is back and ready for action. This week, we got three new figures, the first bodies ready for this month’s release. All equipped with various Load Bearing Equipment mixed with a variety of clothing – the first two are shown with rifles, while the final one is going to be the first machine gunner, with options including the PKM, GPMG and MG3, allowing you to go all out with the variety of your MENA fighters. There is still a fourth figure coming out, although the posing hasn’t yet been selected. These figures will be out for patrons this month, so stand by for further previews.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Modern Miniatures Previews Weapons for Kill Team 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Modern Miniatures<\/a> has shown off some previews for Part 2 of the Kill Team. While the first four were armed with a traditional mix of weapons for field operations, the next set is going to be close-quarters focused. As you can see from the weapons above, these guys are Russian style and ready to kick some door – the PP-2000 on the left has an optic, suppressor and weapon light, while the Saiga 12 (for the moment) is running plain. The addition of these weapons to the Modern Miniatures catalogue means we can potentially see them in future releases or even in some of the kitbashing packs on the store<\/a>. Stand by for more previews as the figures are sculpted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
