we have some new WIP shots over on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/cw\/spectreminiatures\/posts\">The Patreon<\/a>. You might recognise the fellow on the left side as heavily inspired by the larger Cartel Enforcer that was in the metal range. I would say that figure was pretty iconic for the Spectre range (he did have a habit of popping up in promotional pictures), so it&#8217;s fair to see that his design returns, now in STL form. Against him, we can also see a new State Trooper figure in uniform, ideal to add to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spectreminiatures.com\/collections\/swat\/products\/texas-rangers\"> Texas Rangers pair <\/a>released previously. Finally, and carrying on from Spectre&#8217;s last entry in The News Stand, we have a slightly more finished version of the first Criminal Clown figure. This one is a little more detailed than previously released versions, with an MP5 with flashlight and an armoured vest with mag pouches &#8211; these clowns have definitely improved since their first outing, although maybe he should wait until later to count the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other side, Spectre continues its UGV releases with the ZRY 222, a favourite of the Chinese military parades. This is a roughly man-sized armed UGV, mounting a machine gun and what appears to be two types of rocket\/missile systems. The PLA has shown off a lot of drones (including the robo-dogs already released by Spectre), with the intention to use them throughout their armed forces &#8211; having a light vehicle with firepower that would be hard to be man-portable while also mounting sensors to tie into a larger network. While last week was a lot of team weapons, this week we get more individual support weapons and tools. On the left, we have a set of four useful figures &#8211; a radio operator (or Funker) carrying the lightweight R-126 Radio, a Strela 3 operator with goggles, a Fallschrimjager with RPG-7D (complete with FJ helmet) and an SVD marksman intended for FJ operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the right, we have a slightly concerning tool that many a Squad player will recognise. The RKG-3M is an anti-tank grenade that is a pretty terrifying threat at close quarters to even tanks (and they are still being used in Ukraine today, usually from drones). As you can see above, both sets are fully expandable, letting you vary the size depending on what you need. The loading bay has two modules, one with a driver access door next to the cargo roller door while the other is a pair of roller doors for when you need to really stretch your input capacity. The warehouse, on the other hand, has three modules &#8211; one to connect to the loading bays with an access door, a central piece which can be repeatedly printed to make the structure as long as you need, and then the foot entrance to finish the structure off. Each of these modules joins together with a piece that looks like the metal structure you&#8217;d expect to see on these buildings. As with all USG releases, these pieces are all designed to be printed in pieces on a smaller-sized FDM printer, broken up into smaller parts to make sure that everyone can print The trailer is particularly impressive, offering a fully FDM printable piece where you can choose to mount the container on the back or not (just in case you want to make the battlefield a little more interesting). Inside, we have a pile of crates, shelves, and pallets ready to fill the space. There is even a scissor lift to help reach those upper shelves (and presumably set up for an enemy goon to fall off if my day job tells me anything). There will also be a few more pieces for the office and loading bay, as well as a printable sheet to decorate it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, this is looking like a pretty great set of releases &#8211; way back in the day I had <a href=\"https:\/\/hntdaab.co.uk\/blog\/2017\/06\/03\/impressions-ttcombat-distribution-depot-set\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"5660\">TTCombat&#8217;s absolutely massive warehouse<\/a>, and it was impressive on the table. The stripped-down modern muscle car and the smashed-up van are both useful vehicles for the tabletop, be that sat in a chop shop or filling out the junkyard around a criminal&#8217;s lair. These vehicles will also come with some wheel options (looking suitably flat and damaged tyres). These four are all armed with suppressed high-end AR-15s, but with three specialists mixed in &#8211; one is a marksman using an LVPO, another is a breacher with both bolt cutters and a breaching shotgun, and the last has a slung M320 grenade launcher (complete with mag pouches). Ideal for giving that extra touch to a training camp, the set has some neat features (such as backstops, various-sized walls and two types of targets) which will look great. There is also a big pile of weapons to really set the scene. The Tribes release will also include a GMC-style van, perfect for having carried all the guns and ammo out to the woods (or to carry the team of mercenaries ready to shoot the people trying to practise with them).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As mentioned before, all of these items will be released in August (and knowing Modern Miniatures, they will come out pretty sharpish).
