The News Stand: Spectre VBSS Commission Released For Free

|

Following up on Combat Octopus’s 2nd VBSS release, I was approached by Paul (Paulidus on the Ultramodern Discord) messaged me about the set of VBSS figures he had commissioned from Spectre via their Director tier on Patreon. Paul has a keen interest in the 1980s/1990s tactical chic (and will not stop sending me the cool stuff he finds, trying to corrupt me as well) and so when the VBSS guys failed to reach the interest needed from the Combat Octopus Patreon, he decided to commission this team of four guys. This team of four is all armed with MP5s as well as being covered in period gear, with the older style of tactical vests and Protec helmets.

Little did he know of course that a few months later, he’d find himself with two sets of STLs to print out once the patrons changed their mind. Luckily, as you can see on Paul’s Instagram, the two sets work together rather well with the right paint scheme, giving you even more figures ready to abseil in and inspect all those toys ships I know wargamers seem to collect.

If you’re wanting to download the STLs for yourself and get printing, Paul has uploaded them to Google Drive and can be found by clicking here. Both supported and unsupported versions are included.
