This year I’ll have been wargaming for 10 years. Over that time I’ve been lucky to be able to afford a significant chunk of items for my hobby, ranging from figures to terrain and even to tools such as my 3D printers. The hobby is something I really enjoy (and I think the fact this post is my 700th might clue you into how much I enjoy all this wargaming nonsense).
However, as with any hobby project you run for 10 years there comes a time when you need to downsize, to focus on what you actually want to use. Over this year I’m going to work through different parts of the collection and work out what I’m going to keep and what is time for me to pass on to new homes. As people following the blog may have guessed from a few previous posts, my first area being cleaned up is… the literal pile of MDF buildings in my house. I’m going to provide an itemised list later but for now here are some general pictures to attract some first bites.

First up we have the cold storage out in the garage (thanks really useful boxes). As you can see there is a heck of a lot of Sarissa Precision Alamo/Skirmish Compound pieces (including a few of the plain tiles) as well as a Sarissa Precision Factory and outbuilding. There is also a few generic MDF pieces bought from eBay as well as more Sarissa Precision (this time the South of the Border range) as well some TT Combat and Knights of Dice addons

In the main storage, we have a mixed set. A set of Sarissa Precision Colonial range (texture sprayed and undercoated white) with one completely painted building, an almost complete set of the Knights of Dice Tabula Rasa sets (Compounds, Villas and Residences), the Knight of Dice Market Stalls and the Meridian Apartment, Parkview Lodge and Riverside Apartment pieces. There are also a few pieces from Supreme Littleness you may recognise from Operation Dragon’s Hoard as well as some Red Vectors buildings which have been texture painted but not undercoated. Finally, there are a few pieces from Black Site Studios – the Abboud Trading Company, the Turhan Imports and the Temara Safehouse, all of which are wonderful pieces and will probably be the last I let go of.
I also know I have some unconstructed MDF kits from Sarissa, such as the Walled Ambassadors compound pieces and the Secure Compound scenery set but those do need digging out of a box.
If any of this is interesting, and you’re based in the UK (I really want to avoid posting this much Yorkshire air, especially overseas) then drop me an email using the contact link in the top bar. The Regular Opponents are getting a first look at a lot of it but after that it’s first come first serve. Price is flexible but this isn’t a going out of business sale.
I do also need to make it clear – most of these kits are fully assembled and so are very bulky to pack even if they aren’t very dense. For that reason, I’m not shipping them internationally and there is a good chance if it’s in the UK (especially in the North of England) I’ll be delivering them myself rather than risk the postal service.
