SITREP – Big Printings Pt.1

New tech, time to show off just what it can do. As mentioned before, I’m taking a look at the Vae Victis church walls they included in the Advent Calendar this year. These files are way too big to print on the Mars Pro, but easily fit on the much larger print bed of the newly arrived Saturn. It’s taken me a little time (I was distracted by all sorts of fantasy things) but I’ve finally finished off the first three Criminal Element Heavies from Spectre. As mentioned previously, these guys are going to be used as another Special Forces team in the Bazi Empire. And so, all good things must come to an end. The Necromunda Campaign that we started all the way back in October came to an end after 6 weeks of furious gaming. I managed to get all the terrain painted up in time for the scenario! It may have been a little frantic to get it finished off and roll up some Rangers by the end. That said, I’m still really happy with how useful the 3d printer is – getting those barricades printed and painted took less than a day. Oh boy. So as with every game planning, I left it far latter than I should have done. But, I should be able to get it all done. Because I’m a mad man who likes writing his own worlds, I decided that this game will be the first game out using my Chaos Warriors.
